The Learning Place Preschool is a place where learning and caring comes together. We provide a nurturing and comfortable environment for children 2-5 years of age and believe in shaping the future by shaping young lives. Our teachers are trained in the field of Early Childhood Education and are committed to the task of facilitating the growth and development of young children. Our experienced caregivers bring a variety of skills and interests to the preschool while the ongoing training keeps them current with childcare issues and curriculum.

Our academic programs include phonic awareness, math concepts, science activities, social studies concepts, and computers. Developmentally appropriate materials are used to uncover the children’s overall potential, the ability to reason, and sense of creativity. Children are also exposed to art experiences, creative dramatics, story telling, music and movement, karate, dance and gymnastics.

Our staff is also First Aid and CPR certified. We maintain a ratio of one staff member for every eight children so that individual attention is given to all children. Nutritious snacks are also served daily.
